For seafood lover grilled prawns are ultimate pleasure
Had grilled prawns,i had marinated in green masala, so that it does not overpower the delicate taste of prawns.
With squeeze of lime they tasted heavenly.
20-25 Jumbo Prawns ( de shelled and deveined )
1 cup green coriander
1/2 cup mint leaves
2 stalks of spring onion
4-5 green chilies
1 1/2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
salt to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
butter for basting
In a mixer jar grind all the ingredients into coarse paste ( don’t add water) except prawns and butter.
Marinate for 3-4 hours in the fridge.
Thread the prawn in wooden skewers and grill them on hot grill pan for 3-4 mins per side on medium heat.
Basting in between with butter.
The marinate should be thick paste use little extra olive oil or any other oil to grind it don’t use water and before adding prawns see to it the prawns are dry( pat dry them before putting them in marination)
Serve them hot with squeeze of lime.
