Veg Manchurian 


Ingredients:

2 cups of very fine chopped mixed vegetables- carrots, beans, capsicum, cabbage and onions.

1 Tsp Garlic, minced

5 Tbsp maida

1 ½ Tbsp corn flour

¾ tsp Salt

¼ tsp crushed pepper

½ tsp each of soya sauce and red chilli sauce

½ cup water

Mix all the ingredients and make small balls.
Heat oil in a wok and fry small manchurian ball in medium heat. Keep the fried churian balls aside.

Ingredients for sauce

1 finely chopped onion

5-6 finely chopped spring onions

1 finely chopped green capsicum,

3 green chillies

10 crushed garlic cloves

2 Tbsp Soy sauce

8 Tbsp red chilli sauce

Slurry of 3 tbsp corn flour

1 tsp white vinegar

1  tsp crushed black pepper

Salt to taste

3 Tbsp Oil

Heat the oil and add garlic, onions and the white part of spring onions. Fry for 2 minutes and add the capsicum and green chilli. Cook stirring for another two minutes.
Finally add the sauces.

Add the water and corn flour mix and bring to boil.

Add the green parts of the spring onion.

Keep stirring till the gravy thickens and becomes dark in colour.

Add vinegar and  check the seasoning  if required add salt and pepper.

Add the Manchurian calls and mix gently.Garnish with chopped spring onion. Serve with Chinese Fried Rice or Hakka Noodles.
