Ingredients:
1/2 kg Mutton mince
2 finely chopped onions
2 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
1 tomato chopped
1 potato cut in cubes and fried
7-8 green chilies
2 serving spoon oil
1 tsp Cumin seed
Few whole garam masala
10-12 curry leaves
1/2 tsp Tumeric powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 cup chopped Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Few fried curry leaves for garnish.
In a wok heat oil and add whole garam masala and cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then add chopped onion and curry leaves, and let it fry for 3-4 minutes or till the onions are light brown in colour.
Once the onion get the colour, add the mutton mince and saute it for at least 8-10 minutes or till the juices of mince is dry and the only oil is visible.
Add ginger and garlic paste and chopped tomato, and let it cook for another 5 minutes, till the rawness of ginger and garlic is gone.
Add tumeric powder,coriander powder, salt, fried potato pieces and half cup water, cover and let it cook on medium heat till the mince is cooked. It will take around 20-25 minutes but occasionally keep stirring.
When Kheema is cooked add chopped coriander leaves and garnish with few fried curry leaves.
Tips: You can add green peas also along with the fried Potatoes.
