Ingredients:
1 cup cherries, pitted
1 cup strawberries hulled
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup almond powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup All purpose flour
1/4 cup flaked almond
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
6 Tbsp soft butter
Method:
Preheat the oven at 180 deg C atleast for 15 mins
Put the strawberries and cherries into a deep baking dish, and with gelp of fork squish the berries.
Add sugar , almond powder and vanilla essence and mix well with berries.
In food processor combine flour,sugar, almond flakes and cinnamon powder and pluse for few seconds then add butter , pulse until the mixture is coarse n sand like.
Cover the fruit loosely and evenly with the crumbled mixture.
Bake until the crumble topping is spotted with brown and berries juices bubble through, 35-45 minutes.
Cool the crumble until lukewarm to allow the fruit to set.
Serve with scoop of ice cream or dollop of fresh cream.
