1.5 kg Red carrots
1 tbsp ghee
3/4 cup Sugar free ( Sweet n Low )
1 tsp Cardamon powder
2 cup low fat milk
2 tbsp Milk powder
Chopped nuts
Wash, peel and dry carrots.With food processor grate the carrot.
Heat pressure cooker add grated carrot and milk and cook on high heat till one whistle and let it cool before opening. Open the pressure cooker and contine cooking on high heat stirring continuously till milk is reduced.
Add sugar substitute and milk powder and continue cooking till sugar, cardamon and milk powder is mixed well with carrots.
Add ghee and cook for a further 3-4 minutes stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and the halwas turns glossy.
Add chopped nuts and serve hot.
