Chocolate and Strawberry Tart



For Crust:

20 Oreo biscuits
50 gms melted butter

For Filling
180 gms semi sweet chocolate

150 ml whipping cream

10 fresh strawberries

1 tsp chopped almonds

For strawberry coulis:
12-14 chopped strawberries
4 tbsp icing sugar

1 tsp lemon juice



Place oreo cookies into the bowl of a food processor and blend until crumbs form. Add melted butter and Process until nicely mixed.
Put the mixture into the tart pan and with the back of your fingers press it to form even layer.
Place it in fridge to set.
In a pan, heat the cream on low heat for a few minutes to get hot. Remove from heat, pour over chopped chocolate and let rest for 1-2 minutes. Stir until dissolved.

Pour chocolate filling over oreo crust, and top with fresh strawberries. Dust edible gold dust to give the exotic look. Sprinkle chopped Almonds.

 Keep in fridge for at least 2 hours.

To make Strawberry coulis, in a pan add chopped strawberries couples of tbsp of water and lemon juice and cook it for 5-6 minutes. Cool and transfer it in a sauce bowl.

Serve with chopped strawberries and strawberry coulis
