Soya mince and sprouted moong cutlet

Yes a pure vegetarian dish again.. But it is protein packed, super healthy stuff. It will be prefect starter for any vegetarian meal or you can use it as a burger pattis. I had used it for sandwich for next morning breakfast.

Ingredients

1 cup soya mince

2cups Sprouted moong Dal

1 finely chopped Onion

1 boiled potato

2 Green chillies

1tsp grated Ginger

3-4 garlic cloves

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/4tsp garam masala powder

1/2 amchur powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1 tbsp cornflour

Bread crumbs as required

Salt

Oil for frying

Method

Soak soya mince in hot water along with salt 1/4 tsp cumin powder and 1/4 tsp garam masala powder for 10 minutes. Drain the mince and squeeze out as much water from mince as possible.

In food processor add soya mince, sprouted moong Dal and coarsely grind it. Add little water if required.

In motor and pestle crush green chilies, garlic and ginger.

Add the chopped onions, mashed potato, crushed chili and ginger garlic along with all dry masala and cornflour. Mix well if you find no batter to be wet add bread crumbs as required. Mix it well.

Make lemon size ball from the mix and shape it in cutlet. Make thinner tikka if you like it crispy one.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and gently place the cutlets for shallow frying.

Fry them until they get well cooked and turn golden in color. Drain the excess oil and place the cutlet on tissue paper.

Serve hot with chutney or make a sandwich using it.
