Foil Saucy Chicken 


Ingredients:

4 chicken drumsticks 

Marination: 

3 tbsp Hung curd

1 tsp Garlic paste

1 tsp Ginger paste

1 tsp Red chili powder 

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp Cumin powder

1/4 tsp Garam masala powder

1// tsp cornflour 

Salt to taste 

2 tsp mustard oil 

For Sauce:

1 onion

1/2 red bell pepper

1 tomato 

1 green chilli 

1 tsp crushed Garlic 

1/4 tsp Cumin seeds

2 tbsp Chili garlic sauce

1 tsp tomato paste

1/2 tsp Red chili powder 

1/4 tsp chili flakes

1/2 tsp Cumin powder 

1/2 mix dry herb 

Salt

2 tbsp oil

Method:

Marinate chicken drumsticks with all the ingredients stated under marination and keep it in refrigerator for 6-8 hours.


Heat a griddle pan. Put little oil and sear the chicken drumsticks. Cook until almost done turn occasionally. 



When cooked remove the chicken pieces and keep it aside. And atart with the sauce.

In a sauce pan heat oil and add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add chopped onion and crush Garlic and saute until soft and pink. Add chopped red bell pepper and chopped green chili.


Add chopped tomato and all the other ingredients of sauce and saute until the oil separates. 


Add chicken drumsticks in the sauce cook for another two minutes.

Take heavy duty aluminum foil square and place the drumsticks with sauce at the centre and seal it so that it does not leak.


Preheat the oven at 180 degree C. And place the chicken foil packet in it and bake for 15-18 minutes. 

Serve hot
