Easy Homemade Garlic Naan

Don’t we all love that buttery garlicky naan we order in restaurants…. How about making them at home!!!

This is a super easy recipe.. no yeast is needed. All the ingredients are easily available in your kitchen.

Easy homemade garlic naan

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup Curd
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
1/4 cup water or as required
1 tbsp Kalonji
2 tbsp crushed garlic
1 tbsp Sesame seeds
Chopped coriander
2 tbsp Butter

Method

Mix all the ingredients in a stand mixer with a dough hook.
Knead to a smooth and soft dough. In case the dough looks dry, And not coming together then add some more water and knead. It should be a soft stretchy dough. Apply some oil and cover with a kitchen towel. Rest for 60 minutes.

Knead once again and divide the dough into 8 parts. Roll all the dough apply kalonji, garlic, sesame seed, and coriander leaves, and press it.

Heat an old pressure cooker. Apply little water on one side of the naan and stick it to the inside of the pressure cooker and let it cook, once you see air pockets on the naan, turn the pressure, creating a tandoor (oven)

The naan will get some color, which means the naan is done, remove, and generously apply butter.
Serve hot.
