THE BEST HOMEMADE HOT CHOCOLATE MIX RECIPE

Thick creamy got chocolate topped with mini marshmallows

I am sure during winters one of the family’s favorite drinks is, of course, hot chocolate, whether young or old.

This is the best hot chocolate drink you will make. Better than any store brought hot cocoa mix.

If you enjoy thick and creamy hot chocolate then you got to try this… You will thank me forever;)

Ingredients

1.5 cups powdered sugar
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup instant dry milk powder ( I used Nido)
1 .5 cups Malted Vanilla flavor milk powder ( I used Horlicks)
1 tbsp instant coffee

2 tbsp cornflour
100 gm Grated dark Lindt chocolate

A pinch of salt

Method: In a large mixing bowl, sieve together the powdered sugar and cocoa powder to help remove any lumps.
Add remaining ingredients
and whisk everything together until mixed well.

Add your homemade hot chocolate mix to an airtight jar. This will stay good for 3 months.

To make a single serving; bring one cup of milk to a boil in a saucepan.
Add 3 tablespoon chocolate mix to the milk – stir well to dissolve with help of whisk.

Return the pan to heat. Bring the milk to a boil for 2 minutes, grated chocolate bits will melt and cornflour will thicken the hot chocolate and makes it thick and creamy.
Top with more grated chocolate and marshmallows. Serve hot.
